Positively transform your life with Yoga

Yoga has positively transformed our lives. While there have been other modalities that have supported our life journey and positive growth Yoga has been the core modality of grounding and support that has held everything else that has helped to improve our lives. We know Yoga works. It transforms you in gentle, supportive and subtle ways. Yoga is uplifting and life affirming.

Yoga helps you develop a relationship with your body, whereby you see your body as the vehicle or temple of your whole existence. You come to understand that your body not only helps you to move through life, but it helps you process life. You begin to realise the care and health of your body is essential to living your fullest life.

Your body holds the blueprint of your history and the potential of your becoming. If you don't establish a relationship with and awareness of your body, you will never achieve the deepest levels of understanding and connection that you can have to your true self. Your body is the doorway and Yoga is the key to opening the door to living in an enlivened body that can hold sensation and the fullness of life affirming and virtuous emotions - joy, love, pleasure, ecstasy, peace, compassion and transform the unsupportive emotions that keep you stuck in the story of your past.

Yoga helps you to calm your mind. Yoga does this by making your unconscious negative thought patterns repeat on a loop conscious. When your thoughts become conscious, they then lose their power over you and begin to dissolve slowly over time as you stay committed to the practice of positive transformation. 

As you practice Yoga regularly you begin to think less. In the gaps between your thoughts created by less thinking, you begin to heal your body and mind from the addiction to negativity and fear that society has created/programmed within you. In the gaps between your thoughts the uplifting virtuous qualities of your heart will begin to grow. The practice of Yoga brings you into the awareness of your perceived limitations and then supports you to overcome them.

The calming of your mind and grounding into your body draws your awareness into your heart space, and your heart is safe to begin to open fully. You begin to connect with the transcendental divine within you. Compassion, kindness, fun, sensitivity, love, peace, clarity all flows freely from your being. These heart qualities begin to make you more magnetic and attractive to other human beings - people want to feel good in body and mind and Yoga gives you this.

Yoga helps you to both age with grace and to become ageless. There is a point when your Yoga journey begins to pause and slow right down the aging process. Think of the Yoga teachers you have known; their bodies still move with a grace and ease; their eyes have a twinkle and sparkle of life, and they have radiance in their being that emanates health and positivity.

Yoga works. Yoga is a wonderful practice that supports your purest and deepest transformation. But because it works on creating and maintaining lasting change, it is a practice for a lifetime, that will grow and evolve with you and your progress will be steady, slow and sustained.
