" Hi team

I am dropping you a line to let you know I've committed to the beginner yoga and am loving it. I asked Audrie for advice on equipment to buy, because I knew I'd be more likely to commit if I had the right kit to support me to get off to a good start. I invested in myself by buying a matt, two blocks, a strap and a bolster from tribe. I'm so happy with my purchases and that I found you.

I have been practicing the standing poses and plan to do these every day for a few weeks before progressing. Once I feel I'm confident with the standing poses I will drop these to three days a week and incorporate some of the other beginner classes into my routine until I reach the recommended six weeks.

After only one week I am already noticing changes. My muscles feel engaged, I'm more conscious of how I'm holding myself, I feel so much more connected to my body and I'm already noticing progress in terms of flexibility, stability and strengh. Early days I know and a really great start.

I particularly appreciate the 'start where you are' ethos, I find that really empowering.

The beginner classes will keep me going for a while and I'm excited to come back for more when I'm ready to branch out.

Oh and I am also adding three things I'm grateful for to my daily journalling and am doing the legs in the air yoga before bedtime - I am sleeping much better.
